Human-centred coaching

Helping leaders succeed and get to where they want to be

First Foot Forward’s Principal Coach, Kate Wallace works with clients - often Corporate Affairs and Communications leaders and C-suite executives (or on their way) - in large and small private and public businesses, communications and PR consultancies, marketing agencies, universities, non-governmental organisations and charities.

Drawing on her considerable business, communications, PR and corporate affairs experience including the executive and non-executive positions she has held, Kate’s human-centred coaching approach helps her clients succeed and get to where they want to be.

Coaching through a lens of Kindness - and specialising in Confidence, Communications and Creativity - Kate believes that all her clients have the skills to find clarity and achieve their goals.

Working with her clients in tailored programmes that respond directly to them and their needs, Kate supports her clients at a pace that is right for them, to empower them, to help them look forward, and become the person and leader they want to be.

While every coaching programme is different, Kate’s clients often come to her to help them:

·       navigate complexity, challenge and change

·       increase their confidence

·       deal with Imposter Syndrome

·       build their resilience

·       progress their career and enhance their performance

·       improve their leadership skills

·       resolve conflict and address challenging relationships

·       communicate their value and their team’s contribution

·       transition to a new role

·       strengthen stakeholder relationships

·       enhance their problem-solving skills

·       define their values, purpose and long-term vision

·       manage stress and develop a healthy work/life balance

Kate helps her clients achieve their goals and facilitate change by working sensitively with them to:

·       achieve clarity

·       develop their narrative

·       advance their thinking and move forward

·       gain insights and increase self-awareness

·       learn new ways to respond

·       develop an achievable action plan

The coaching sessions – which are forward-looking – provide a safe, non-judgemental space to unlock thinking, gain new insights and achieve clarity.

The coaching space may be face to face, online or outside, away from the office and home. Some clients opt to have ‘walking and talking’ coaching sessions – outside, away from the office and their personal habitat, unencumbered by the trappings of their work or personal environment.
